Yaya Centre

Being a very introverted person that rarely goes out, I do so much of my shopping online. Personally I haven’t been to the mall yet but I have ordered food online from their stores. Yaya centre is one of the businesses listed on the Uber eats app allowing me to order food from their food stores at my convenience. For instance a while back I got back from school so late in the evening and had no dinner. so I decided to order food through Uber eats. I got onto my UberEATS app to find food. my attention was drawn to the Yaya centre because of their amazing offers of buy one get one free. I went through their menu and settled on fries and smokie. They had an offer of buy one get one free up which made me choose them. I was charged 390 shillings inclusive of service and delivery fees for each package of food but only paid for one and got the other one free of charge. The food arrived in 15 minutes through an Uber rider and I was allowed to pay after confirming that what I had received was what I had ordered.The food was hot and well packaged a plus for them They were efficient and fast than expected considering it was the first time I was ordering from their stores. I intend to make time to leave my room and actually walk into the mall and shop physically. I’d recommend buying food from them through the Uber eats app because of their low prices and efficiency.

One of the pioneer malls in Kenya. It has held its own over time and definitely kept up. I’m not a shopping person. It’s been a while since I was at Yaya Center. However, this place has a life of its own, its a cozy mall in a dynamic part of the city with ample parking space, tantalizing restaurants, vegetable vendors who have literally everything you need to different fashion stores, From luxury brands of Brioni and Ermenegildo Zegna to the fashion Collections of Giorgio Armani and Hugo Boss and Leather accessories and shoes of Salvatore Ferragamo and Santoni, Little Red menswear have the greatest menswear shop collection for the fashionista! The ladies Little Red similarly has beautiful collections of Escada and Armani Donna to the Italian Group of MaxMara and the Shop in Shop of the world re-known Gerry a Weber and Basler shops within.in addition are the Salvatore Ferragamo ladies collections, ice cream stores, and pastry shops( we had to take their amazing blueberry cheese pie. Try it. it’s a pastry shop on the ground floor next to ArtCaffe. Sorry have forgotten their name). We had a specific appointment with the Body Shock store second floor. They have amazing jewelry and soft apparels and oh if you want a tattoo? Check them out. Abraham and their colleagues are just amazing at this art. They are affordable too. Did I mention security is great?? And Kids have a voice too here! the entire rooftop is a playing area for kids during weekends. Sierra lounge is a step-in restaurant, located on the 3rd floor in Yaya Centre, try their food, steak… That is. With the best and most tasty food, their cuisine is the best! Yaya Centre is also one of the few malls in Nairobi that has good exchange rates, and there is a designated drop-off and pick-up spot in the mall parking lot for taxis. Nairobi is indeed evolving so is Yaya Centre!

The mall is just like any other mall in the city; the architectural design is simple but lovely. The Interior space and ambiance are beautiful. Good location for everything banking, recreation and eat out. If you are looking for a one-stop for all your shopping needs, then Yaya center is the place for shops, cafes, salons, Chandarana, and network service centers. It’s always clean and has excellent parking. The Shops and restaurants are lovely, with a broader choice of food and drink. I happened to pass by the mall one sunny Sunday for ice cream, and I got a chance to try the cold stone delicious ice cream ksh 450. The best thing is the surrounding streets with several exciting restaurants and bars. So you can find a good place for afternoon drinks or a night out.

Yaya Centre is ideal because of the location of a number of stores within the mall. Everything you need is here: Chandarana food plus, Java, there is a nice Chinese restaurant at the 2nd the floor y’all should visit as well as the Indian Restaurant at the Food Court. Also check out sierra in the mall very ideal for dinner and dates. Yaya Centre also has an underground parking for those with vehicles. The security provided is nice. Be warned you can get lost/confused because of how large the mall is. Tip: Best place to check out eating joints.

This is one of the first malls to be built in Nairobi but it has remained relevant throughout the years. It is located in Argwins Kodek Rd in Nairobi. A cab from town costs KES300 but there is the option of using public means. It is home to over one hundred stores and offices. One thing about the Yaya center is that you can get lost in the mall. It is huge and the escalators are so confusing. I’m one of many who have gotten lost in that mall. It houses Mr. Price, Woolworths, and Chandarana just to mention a few stores. I especially like the Java and Artcaffe in Yaya Center. They offer the tranquility to enjoy your means either while working or on a date. They also offer office space but I bet it is quite pricey. If you want to do shopping or find a place to relax during the weekends, this is the place for you.
