I love coffee. Hot, cold, black, white, drip, brewed, mixed, machine, Moka pot, filter, French press; if you make it, I’ll probably drink it. So I appreciate a good coffee and Barista & Co. are at the top of my list. We were there on a weekday morning for a late breakfast. It’s cozy but not too small, and the decor is bright and minimalist. We were there on a weekday morning for a late breakfast. The coffee is slightly more expensive than your average coffee place but based on quality, it’s delivered on every extra shilling. We shared a panini and tried the waffles. The waffle iron wasn’t cooperating that day so the waffles were underdone, so the chef offered us the French toast instead, which we thoroughly enjoyed. I’d love to emphasize the service. I experienced world-class service with the waiters extremely friendly and so was the chef. He came and apologized and explained the situation and brought us a replacement and not only was it good but the billing for the first removed, so was the second. It has become my favorite coffee spot.
