Durable footwear

Although, perfection is something hard to come by these days. And quite relative. What I find comfortable may not be for you. What’s dull to you could be what I’ve been looking for all this time. Shoes, in a way, are like that. Each fits a person differently, and the experience of walking isn’t the same for everyone. All I ever wanted are shoes that feel right when I wear them. And by “right”, I mean that they shouldn’t be a pain to wear, they look good, and lastly, they don’t make me drag my feet when I walk. One brand stands out whenever I think of comfort and durability. Be it for special occasions or just a quick stroll to the grocery, Bata Shoes is my go-to footwear. There literally isn’t a bad day with Bata. I have quite a number of pairs of shoes from Bata, but my favorite ones are sneakers. I still have a pair that I bought at Garden City in 2015 when it had just opened and up to this date, my sneakers are still functional and somehow new. Shoes last by how you use them. Being a typical heavy walker, I can’t for the life of me keep a pair for more than a couple of years without thinning the soles out. But! Bata has proved me wrong. They’re made of durable materials of high-export quality. Whoever said fashion should cost more didn’t know Bata Shoes. For a reasonable sum, you can get your hands (or feet for this matter) with a pair of shoes that’s designed so meticulously. That’s definitely comfort in more ways than you bargained for. The shoes that I wear when I go out would have to be both comfortable and durable. My Bata shoes meet all that, and I can’t ask for anything more. They’re certainly comfortable and durable with a sole.

Over 150 stores in Kenya. That should tell you about their history, their roots, their quality and their reach in Kenyan households. I have been a customer since long before I can remember. Going up in Kenya, the mandatory school shoes were bata toughees. These are black leather shoes. They had no competition then and therefore, anyone who could afford school shoes wore bata. I remember the excitement whenever my mom would take me to buy new shoes. I didn’t get new school shoes very often and this is because those shoes were top quality. Imagine wearing shoes for most of the calendar year, playing with them those children games and still not having to replace them for a whole year. What was this sorcery. But this is the story every other customer will tell you. Bata and quality go hand in hand. They also sell other variety of shoes including sneakers, doll shoes, slippers, slide and so much more all ranging from 200/= to 4000/=. If you walk into a bata store, you are sure to leave with a pair that you will like. Their customer service should also be bench marked. They are polite and jovial. They help you get what you are looking for, look for your size and package it for you. Every experience in a bata store is quite pleasant

Comfortable and durable shoes for daily activities!

Bata is my go to for durable everyday to day shoes! They have a number of branches around Kenya. In Nairobi I usually buy my shoes from the one on Kimathi street or garden city or Thika road mall. The shops here are very spacious and well organized with very helpful attendants that will always get you that shoe size to try on if it’s not on display. Bata caters for both children and adults plus it has all shoe sizes. Bata has a variety of options such as go back to school shoes, flat shoes, elegant heels and comfortable canvas shoes for the ladies. The men’s section has the leather shoes, the famous safari shoes great for casual outfits and canvas shoes as well. The kids section is also fully stocked with different and unique options for your child. Some of their shoes have got small or wide fittings so it’s better to actually to try it on even if you’re sure of your size before purchase. If you buy some one shoes that don’t fit, you can always get the right size or even exchange the shoes for another design at any branch that you are able to access so long as you have the receipts! They also have hand bags, socks, belts, shoe polish, etc at quite affordable prices and they are of durable quality! The prices will depend on your choice of design but you can get shoes even at 500kshs! But price range for most shoes is about 1500kshs and above. One thing to note is that you will only find unique designs when they have just re-stocked their shop. Otherwise you might end up buying shoes from the dead stock since they rarely get rid of it. In fact most times this is what you will find on their sales. Otherwise I haven’t had any bad experiences with their shoes so I would definitely recommend them.

Quality shoes that last a lifetime.

Bata is Kenya’s leading footwear company with over 150 stores spread across the country. It is a household name since most pupils from kindergarten to high school buy their shoes from bata. I have shopped at various bata stores since I was a kid. But recently I visited the bata store at Garden City and I felt nostalgia from all the memories. It was by impulse that I entered the store. I was welcomed by this lady dressed in the standard bata employee uniform. She was quick to enquire on what I was looking for. In truth, you rarely need assistance to maneuver bata stores. They are organized in a simple way with sneakers on one side, ladies shoes on another side, men shoes on another side. Its hard to not access whatever you want within a short amount of time. Now since this time I had not come with a specific need, I decided to wander. It did not take me a minute to know what I was leaving there with. I saw these slides, maroon in colour and they looked really good. On touching them, the material felt so soft yet durable. I quickly asked for my size. The lady serving me was back from the store in seconds. Talk about customer service. In all honesty, the shoes I came with where the ones I put into the carrier bag and the slides became my favourite footwear right there and then. Plus they only cost 300/=

Ever since I was young, I always went to Bata for all my shoe needs . It’s one of the shops that has literally contributed quite a lot to my shoe journey in this lifetime. Essentially Bata is multi national corporation that aims to provide it’s clients with some of the highest quality shoes at a very affordable price. It’s main base of operation is in Limuru but the number of branches around the country is limitless. Even in the very deep outskirts there may be no electricity but I’m telling you there will definitely be a Bata (ha ha ha) .When I was young if your shoes weren’t from Bata you were clearly doing something wrong . My first pair of shoes that I bought from here were from the toughees shoe collection and they were around 2000/=. This shoe collection alone has such a wide range that caters for both girls and boys. They also have a unisex category . The toughees are relatively durable and they used to last me about two years before getting worn out. Other than that, many of my shoe purchases as an adult has also been from Bata particularly their sneakers and rubber shoes. The sneakers generally go for more than 2000/= and their rubber shoes go for as low as 300/=. Some of their other brands include ;Power ,Northstar, Safari and Sandal . For convenience, they have an online store that I think works pretty effectively. They also have really good discounts that comes in handy when am trying to buy many pairs of shoes with a limited amount of money.
