Crowne Plaza Nairobi

Crowne Plaza is a four-star hotel that offers first-class services to guests. It’s a business hotel located in a serene and quiet environment away from the city, hence offering a conducive environment for work-related conferences. The hotel has 12 spacious conference rooms and a ballroom to accommodate up to 500 guests. The hotel’s main restaurant is Baraka, where they serve a full English breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet. The hotel restaurant also offers an ala carte menu for guest who wants to try the exceptional food outside the buffet. I visited the hotel for dinner with a friend. Upon arrival, we were escorted by the hostess, and she asked if we had made a booking or reservation. We confirmed we had reserved a table in the fine dining restaurant named Sikia. The hostess walked with us to the restaurant and showed us our table, and she left us with the menu. After a few minutes, a waiter named Corazon approached our table and took our order. My friend ordered grilled chicken with fries at Ks h 2,500. I ordered grilled steak with fries at 2,800. For the drinks, we ordered two glasses of orange juice. I loved the grilled steak was soft, juicy, and delicious. My friend was also delighted by her meal. Sikia is my absolute favorite restaurant. Servers are also great and always efficient, happy, and polite. I can’t wait to return there and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to eat. After our meal, we noticed that the hotel has a coffee shop that serves coffee, juice, and pastries. It also has different rooms for accommodation, each having a unique experience. The hotel also has facilities such as a gym, swimming pool, business center, and spa are essential in this establishment. Crowne Plaza is the place to be where one gets home away from home experience.

If you have ever been to Upperhill, you cannot fail to notice Crown Plaza Nairobi, We stayed for 2 days (Work-related) and were impressed with the reception staff, the concierge service, and the assistance we were given. We Had a kind and attentive waitress by the name of Judith, she was really patient and offered us a variety of menus and advised on the best dish. The hotel is sparkling clean, you cannot miss noticing the huge unique chandelier at the reception. Their food was so legit I would recommend the hotel for the best Lobster. The ambiance as a whole. made us work without a struggle, Spacious room, clean sheets, comfortable bed. We enjoy our work staycation.

Right before the corona virus outbreak, I got invited by a friend to Crowne Plaza Hotel in Nairobi. It had been years since I had been at the hotel so I jumped at the opportunity. Crown Plaza hotel is located in Upper Hill along Kenya Road. The hotel is a sight to behold. It’s really beautiful exterior gleamed gold as the windows reflected the sunset. Its among my favorite hotel designs in the city, and the interior was just as magnificent. I arrived earlier than my friend, so I had a chance to walk around the hotel. The hotel had around three restaurants and one bar called Babalu’s Bar and Lounge. This bar was really beautiful with a piano complementing the design. Being a lover of whisky and cocktails, I was tempted to enter for a drink. Luckily, I was saved by my phone ringing. We had our dinner at Baraka Restaurant. It is a really large restaurant with beautiful décor and lighting. The lighting created the perfect mood for dinner. The buffet had a wide selection of food, pastry and fruits. I usually try to keep my meals as simple as possible so I served myself salmon cake as my entrée, and chicken breast and pasta as my main dish. My dessert was a chocolate cake. The meal was top notch and I was fully satisfied by the time was I was done. It was among my best fine dining experiences and am looking forward to doing it again once corona is over.

This is a very luxurious 4 star hotel that’s located in upperhill Nairobi. It’s very pricey and a night here costs us about 15000/= per person. I stayed here for a weekend during my nineteenth birthday and it was such a wonderful experience. Straight from the main entrance that opens up to a very large hall, the staff are so outgoing. They are very helpful and basically helped us take care of everything. I barely lifted a finger from picking up my luggage to getting me the perfect room, everything was done pretty fast. The decor of the front desk is very simple and classy and on your right to there’s a nice lounge/ lobby which makes a perfect pit stop. We were then taken to our rooms and how lovely they were. They were so spacious with a nice flats screen TV, very comfortable beds and air conditioning. I didn’t want to leave the room at all and just wanted to sleep away this staycation. They had so many amenities on board but what really got me sold was their spa, hot tub and heated pool. I genuinely wanted to live in that spa.Set up a whole family and have children there. They also had a fitness center but who am I to go to there . I just showed up to see how it looked and left to take a dip in their beautiful pool. Their meals on the two days we were there were quite well done. The buffet had a variety of options you could choose from and I always ate to my fill. The bar after the spa were my second home and I liked their nice low music which just created a whole ambiance. Everything about this place was done to my liking and I would definitely recommend .It is as a preferred location for accommodation ;either casual or official. The staff also kept coming to check up on me and making sure I was alright which again was a plus.

Crowne Plaza is a franchise intercontinental hotel located in Upper Hill Nairobi. It’s very chic and the ambiance very serene. I felt like I wasn’t in Upper hill anymore for a second there once I entered. It offers conference halls, restaurants that take you through a world-class dining experience, and bars that serve as the perfect spot to unwind a long day. They actually also offer other amenities such as a spa, gym, and pool. It also offers lavish rooms for spending the night.

I have never particularly stayed in one but from the recommendations I get, I hear it’s quite something. I have been here about 4 times and for all those times I went here to attend a conference. I genuinely love how they perfectly transform the ballrooms to suit whatever event your hosting. I saw the same rooms we held our conference transformed into a wedding venue and I was literally awestruck. Would definitely recommend this for whatever event you want to hold.

Their menu for us on all those days was the buffet all you can eat setting and they offer quite a variety. I especially loved their dessert section. There was so much entertainment offered to my sweet tooth I left a happy woman. Their breakfast buffet menu was also alright and they are very accommodating in case the numbers you have slightly exceed what you had estimated: you’d just have to adjust the price you pay.
