Decent meal while in Nakuru
It’s located in the center of Nakuru Town, being part of an old family establishment, ubiquitous in that part of town. It has old-style interior decor. Despite a quite unattractive entrance, we were welcomed by knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful staff. The service was satisfactory, took the servers about 5 minutes to attend to us. The waiting time was about 15-20 minutes for our orders. The food was quite spicy and tasty at the same time, and I needed a cool drink, to down it, but hey! That’s part of the appeal. To sum it up, if you’re looking for a great taste of Indian food, this is the place. My first experience was pleasant. There were only 4 families inside dining, telling you it’s very spacious. The food was fresh and good. I also ordered a chicken sandwich which has a nice portion of meat and French fries and vanilla shake in which they were all good. I sat a little to make room for dessert but they only had 1 kind of cake. I just wish they had brownies with ice cream or something. The atmosphere is quiet, very relaxed and they had the TV on. It’s a perfect place to eat in privacy The restaurant serves alcohol as well. You can get a cold beer with a good curry. We paid a return visit during our short stay in Nakuru and were equally delighted. I strongly recommend the quality and value of the food and the excellent customer service.
