Coming from the coastal side of Kenya you bet there is no bus that goes to Mombasa I have not used. Well, I have a number of companies that are my favorite and this is one of them. I have used Mash both day and night time. It is a well-structured bus company that is run by professionals with a high level of integrity and competence. The buses traverse various routes in Kenya, Kigali, and Uganda. Their spacious buses allow you an opportunity to travel with kids, personally, I have traveled with my kids and I enjoyed the comfort that comes with their buses. At Mash East Africa drivers work on a planned bus time schedule and on shift basis to avoid any fatigue on the road, making traveling with us the most safety way. What I really like about Mash is the info they provide on board about their drivers. Mash ensures their drivers go for an eye test after every 12 months especially those above 40 years to avoid poor vision on the road. All their driver are subject to pass the alcohol blow test before being authorized to sign for their shift or allowed to drive. Their Mash Cool brand of buses comes at a premium, that is, you will have to dig deeper into your pockets if you want to use one of them. Unlike the Mash Poa, they only operate on two routes only, Nairobi-Mombasa and Nairobi- Kampala. So, if you looking for them on any different route, then I have bad news for you. You will not find them. For the VIP class from Mombasa to Nairobi, you will pay Ksh. 2500.00 while the normal class will set you back for Ksh. 1800.00. If you are traveling on the Nairobi-Kampala route, you have two options; you can take either the Mash Cool Club Class Bus or the New Mash Cool Fully Executive Bus. For the former, it will cost you Ksh. 3500.00 on VIP and KSh. 2500.00 in the Normal class. The New Mash Cool Fully Executive Bus is cheaper at Ksh. 3000.00 and Ksh. 2500.00 for the VIP and Normal Classes respectively.
