I’m not sure if this reviews really help bit i will leave this one here hoping it will be attended to.. There is a ckear lack of consistency.. I travelled to Mombasa in Oct with a mash day bus and it was great, it was a KDK awesome clean bus very new and posh.. After my two week stay i travelled with a night bus that leaves at 8:30pm, a KBX, old is gold they say,,, but boy is it dirty, coachroaches all over one cant even sleep in peace. Please atleast try fumigating and refurbishing the seats otheriwise th e services are good.

Business class taken to the next level

Coming from the coastal side of Kenya you bet there is no bus that goes to Mombasa I have not used. Well, I have a number of companies that are my favorite and this is one of them. I have used Mash both day and night time. It is a well-structured bus company that is run by professionals with a high level of integrity and competence. The buses traverse various routes in Kenya, Kigali, and Uganda. Their spacious buses allow you an opportunity to travel with kids, personally, I have traveled with my kids and I enjoyed the comfort that comes with their buses. At Mash East Africa drivers work on a planned bus time schedule and on shift basis to avoid any fatigue on the road, making traveling with us the most safety way. What I really like about Mash is the info they provide on board about their drivers. Mash ensures their drivers go for an eye test after every 12 months especially those above 40 years to avoid poor vision on the road. All their driver are subject to pass the alcohol blow test before being authorized to sign for their shift or allowed to drive. Their Mash Cool brand of buses comes at a premium, that is, you will have to dig deeper into your pockets if you want to use one of them. Unlike the Mash Poa, they only operate on two routes only, Nairobi-Mombasa and Nairobi- Kampala. So, if you looking for them on any different route, then I have bad news for you. You will not find them. For the VIP class from Mombasa to Nairobi, you will pay Ksh. 2500.00 while the normal class will set you back for Ksh. 1800.00. If you are traveling on the Nairobi-Kampala route, you have two options; you can take either the Mash Cool Club Class Bus or the New Mash Cool Fully Executive Bus. For the former, it will cost you Ksh. 3500.00 on VIP and KSh. 2500.00 in the Normal class. The New Mash Cool Fully Executive Bus is cheaper at Ksh. 3000.00 and Ksh. 2500.00 for the VIP and Normal Classes respectively.

Luxurious bus traveling!

Mash East Africa has multiple buses that travel to many destinations within Kenya and across Kenya to Kampala, Uganda, Kigali, Rwanda and to Burundi. They have the VIP seats which have plenty of leg room and a larger angle at which the seats can be inclined for a comfortable nap while on the journey. The economy seats also have adequate leg room and the seats too can incline. You can find their offices at mash house along Accra road in Nairobi to book a ticket or book online via their website. They have mash cool which has air conditioning the whole time and mash poa which doesn’t. Both however have WiFi and charging sockets. I usually use the mash cool as I travel to Kampala and the cost is 4000kshs for VIP and 3700 for Normal seats. The cost to other destinations within Kenya is around 1800-2500kshs. I love the AC part of it since the longer journey is during the day and it tends to be hot then. The drivers are very friendly and alternate during the trip giving room for rest. This makes it really safe to travel with mash since you don’t want an exhausted driver behind the wheel! I love that the interior of the buses is clean and well maintained. Small hand luggage is kept in the cabinets just above the seats while the larger luggage is well organized in the boot of the bus. There are stops during such long journeys to grab food or a snack and also stretch your legs for a few minutes. I would definitely recommend mash cool for a comfortable long journey. You won’t regret it!

Travel in comfort

These are some of the favorite buses for long-distance travelers. They offer comfort, amazing services, and convenience. They are convenient because you don’t have to go to the offices to book a seat. You can do it on their website. They can also pick you up on the way so that you don’t have to go to their bus stop to board the bus. They offer transport to many destinations including Nairobi, Mombasa, Kampala, and Kigali. The buses have plenty of charging sockets. You don’t have to worry about your phone going off. There are also blinds on the windows. Their prices vary from KES2000 for economy class and KES2500 for VIP seats. This is for a trip from Nairobi to Malindi with stops along the way for refreshments and food. They also offer delivery services for parcels. If you need comfort while traveling, these are the guys for you.
