Milano Ice Cream

I have had a lot of ice cream but not gelato. When I heard of Milano, I knew I had to try their ice cream. My sweet tooth was in for a treat. They are based in Nairobi CBD along wabera street in jubilee insurance house. You can’t miss it once you get to the building. They have a small spot so it’s possible to lack sitting space at times. Luckily, the time I went, we were the only ones there. They have an amazing display with each ice cream tray labeled. The staff we cheerful and expounded on the flavor and even advice on the best ones to taste. I was a bit disappointed that they don’t give samples before you decide on the flavor. I ended up taking French vanilla because you can never go wrong with vanilla. It’s was amazing. I don’t know how gelato makes the difference but it did. Plus their prices are fair. Kes 200 for one scoop and kes 350 for two. I will be back there soon.

I went there on a hot afternoon with my cousin and because ice cream is my go to on such days. They have a variety of unique flavors to choose from and you are able to take samples before you finally make the choice you desire. The customer care is amazing and you will be told the ingredients of the flavor you would like to purchase before doing so if you can’t understand the flavor name before you take something that you’re allergic too. The ice-cream is quite affordable and worth every penny. One small scoop of the ice-cream is 200ksh while the large is 350ksh and I definitely had two. I had the cookies and cream plus strawberry ripple while my cousin had Forest berry, her favorite and they were amazing. You can also choose to have it on a cone or in a cup plus sprinkles! The place has seats within and the ambiance is really peaceful and cute so no worries about where you’ll have to sit, so long as there is no big number of customers present, and enjoy your ice-cream in peace. We opted for the seats away from the display because its more private compared to those opposite the ice-cream display. They also offer milkshakes of different flavors and coffee of your preference at 200kshs.
