On the shores of Diani Beach, you will find this magnificent hotel, Neptune Village Beach Resort is one of the hotels belonging to Neptune’s group of hotels both in Kenya and Tanzania. Being a luxurious 5-star resort all-inclusive is what you expect from them, meaning in between 10 am-12 pm you can always access their menu for snacks and drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Hubby my kids and I went for our holiday, and we couldn’t think of any other place that was the perfect match for my family. One of the many reasons why we chose to go to this hotel is because of the impression you get of being in a traditional Swahili village because of the multi-cottages and other structures having conical roofs made of makuti from the nearby palm trees. I will tell you this, Neptune is one of the best and most affordable 5-star hotels in Diani. If you are looking for adventure along the way, I recommend you travel by train and experience the Ferry, on the other hand, you can take a flight and in an hour you will be in the hotel sipping your fresh juice given to the visitors as a gesture of welcome on board. We had booked through the agency, and practically our checking-in was a smooth one. At the reception, the staff was kind and jovial despite the intense heat, Emanuel was kind, attentive, and pleasant. If you have not been attended to by Emanuel you have not had the full Neptune experience. Even though the hotel was fully packed somehow the staff managed to check us in within five minutes, something I was happy about. David one of the staff requested to carry our languages as he showed us our room. Nested in a 25 acre of private land, we were more than happy to get a room that was near the reception and not far from the restaurant swimming, and beach. The rooms were very clean and spacious, our balcony was the highlight of it all. The meals are of different varieties with service staff all over waiting to host us at the dinner table. Caroline was so outgoing plus the fruit team who were cutting our slices generously. Monkeys are all over it’s lovely to see the colobus monkey in its natural environment. The animation team and entertainment are excellent. We enjoyed sports, especially water aerobics. Appreciated that there is WIFI and great AirCon that you can moderate on your own. Can I come back here again? absolutely yes!

Neptune beach resort and spa are one of Africa’s leading tourist destinations located on the silver sands of the Diani Beach, 40 km to the south of Mombasa City. The hotel occupies a large area of land, and it contains three sections, each with its restaurant, all under one resort. In addition, the resort has three bars and three swimming pools with a separate area for the kids. Furthermore, there is a pool table, table tennis, gym, water volleyball, beach volleyball, and spa that one enjoys. The main restaurant ‘Karamu’ serves breakfast from 7:00 am to 9:30 am, lunch from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm, and dinner from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm with different themes and cuisines. During meal times, soft drinks are also served. The beauty of this resort is that they charge through the all-inclusive method, which is very fair considering all the facilities and services guests enjoy. The resort also has a theater where the animation team entertains guests. It also hosts romantic events at the beach, e.g., weddings and anniversaries. Not forgetting, the resort has a seafood restaurant located next to the swimming pool. The restaurant serves elaborate snacks, à la carte menus, and specialty seafood like lobsters, prawns, and fresh fish. I also noticed that the resort host a special event dedicated solely to repeat guests every year. My friend and I visited the place during Christmas, and I would say the resort has given us the best experience. The buffet is enormous, from starters to delicious desserts. The quality and tastes of all the food were outstanding. The grill section and the live cooking might have been the best meal I have ever been served. The service was delightful and very professional. I highly recommend this resort to anyone who wants to enjoy a vacation with family and friends.

I went to this paradise two years ago with a couple of friends for a weekend. This Resort is located on the silver sand of Bamburi beach, several kilometres before you get to the city of Mombasa. This was my first every holiday destination in Kenya.I literally did not want to leave.Everything was done to perfection for me. As soon as we arrived, the personnel working there were so warm and friendly. We got a double room and the rooms are very spacious and clean. Very well furnished. The first thing that drove us crazy was the beach that was right there, literally two steps and I’m one with the ocean. The convenience was just perfect: allowing us to spend mornings and late nights by the beach being one with nature. They have several restuarants in the hotel and the package we had was giving all you can eat buffet for every meal for the 3 days we were there. About the food that was served,my answer is YES!Although some of my friends had a problem with some of the cuisines they were not used to ,everything else was done to perfection. They had a build your own omelette and pasta sections which were the ones I looked forward to mostly. We took the open bar package,so trust me when I say there was no single second I didn’t have either a glass of wine or a cocktail on my hand. The security was ample. They had other amenities such as down-to-earth quarters in a beachfront resort with free Wi-FI & breakfast, plus a freshwater pool. The price is usually around 17,000 -23,000 per night for a standard room.I highly recommend it.
