Peppertree officially opened its doors to the public in January 2020 and has been steadily growing ever since. The restaurant located on the second floor of Delta Towers along Waiyaki Way in Westlands is a botanical wonderland with amazing Latin-Asian vibes that enchant you from the minute you walk in. It was a gloomy Wednesday afternoon at the restaurant, but plenty of light still filtered in through the windows, and we enjoyed the view out across Westlands. The interior is aesthetically pleasing and totally Instagram-worthy with artistic mural walls, industrial lights, appealing furniture, and plants all around the facility. The ground floor has a rustic, marble, and botanical vibe, with lantern-like chandeliers in woven hangings donning the ceiling, fresh green leafy hanging plants, marbled countertops, fairy lights, and semi-circular grey cushioned seats with fine polished wooden round tables and golden metallic seats with navy blue cushions. It is like being on a page out of a Disney movie, with soothing cultural music playing from the speakers. The restaurant has additional seating space upstairs and the ambiance is impeccable. In fact, we deliberately chose to sit upstairs so that we could soak in all the beauty wetlands has to offer. It has an indoor, and outdoor feel. With navy blue with a rustic vibe, fairy lights entwined in the ceiling, and, lots of well-placed fresh plants. The balcony is covered in cantilevers to shield diners from harsh climates and to allow them to enjoy the outdoor breeze without worry. My friend and I ordered a chicken salad and I must admit, it was well done and presented. The meals are affordable and the portions and presentation make every coin totally worth it. They not only offer to dine-in services but also takeaways and delivery.

A peaceful gateway

This gem is located in Delta Towers along Waiyaki Way, Westlands so it’s definitely easy to get to it at approximately 250ksh uber ride from the Nairobi CBD or if you consider to use ‘matatu’ you’ll definitely be dropped off just at the Delta Towers and you can walk towards the parking and you’ll find it on your right. The journey towards the restaurant is just beautiful as you appreciate the art leading you through the staircase till you get to the 2nd floor where Pepper Tree is found. A very welcoming waitress Rose received me and I requested for a table of one. Still don’t get why she was shocked; haha I guess solo dates aren’t common here. The ambience makes you somewhat forget you’re in a building because of the garden-like interior design which is really beautiful. They have another seating area upstairs which I opted for since it was quite cozy plus it felt like I was in a tree house (exposing my inner child) where i could just read my novel as i sip on something. Rose offered me the menu and I was lucky to have come at happy hour which by the way starts at 3pm till 6pm with specific cocktails at 500shs. So I definitely got a few of those and trust that it was the best decision I made! I had the Korean chicken wings with fries as my meal and it was delicious. The service is definitely great since I didn’t really wait for long before my order was delivered which I loved. But the upstairs can get a bit cold so you better have something warm on. You need to visit this gem like yesterday!

A beautiful restaurant something like a garden in Westlands. It’s located in Delta towers which are some 10 minutes from Nairobi CBD and a cab cost about kes 250. I took my partner on a date not so long ago and she still reminds me of how beautiful she found the place. Walking through the hallway and the stairs are captivating with the art in the wall. When we got to the restaurant, the first thing that caught my eye was the plants hanging from the roof. It gave the place such a chill vibe. We got a table at the far end which was good for privacy. My partner had already started taking pictures. We didn’t get any complaints about taking photos so I guess that’s the norm for such a beautiful restaurant. The service was good and the food ranged from kes 500 to kes 3000. For me, the food wasn’t that memorable. Their decor is everything.

Pepper Tree Restaurant is a lovely restaurant located along Waiyaki Way Westlands. The entrance is so welcoming with art on the walls on the hallway and staircase towards the dining area. If you’re in search of a quiet chill place to have your lunch or dinner, Pepper Tree is definitely the place for you. My mum and I visited Pepper tree early this year and were impressed by how beautiful the place is. It is definitely one of the most underrated restaurants in Nairobi. There are plants hanging down from the ceiling giving the place this indoor garden dining vibe. Their chairs are really comfortable and cosy with a choice of couches if you’re many or choose to be more comfortable. I loved the customer service here and the staff were quite friendly we got the menu and took a look at what they had to offer. Their food ranges from $5 to around $25. We first ordered drinks as we contemplated on what to order, their mojitos and salted caramel milkshake are to die for, would 10/10 recommend you to try them when you’re there. We had their Jerusalem Lamb Chops which were $19 with a side of spiced rice and roast sweet potatoes which were $5. There food is a hands down 9/10 and their portions quite generous. Since we went there around late evening the place looked so beautiful with the lights blending so well with the plant theme of thw restaurant. There was also music playing in thw background making the eating experience here more amazing. The dining area here is huge so there is no squeezing even on a busy evening. The place maintains a high standard of cleanliness including in their washrooms which was something I really loved about the place. Pepper Tree restaurant also allows birthday and graduation celebrations so it is the perfect place for you and your loved ones to celebrate that special day.

Yummiest sweet potato chips and soy wings!

The location is extremely alluring! It is very scenic for good Instagram pictures–if that is a priority for you. There are lots of hanging plants and intricate interiors that gives the restaurant a pleasant soothing aura. The food is a bit pricey and the flavors are very generic so you may be underwhelmed if you’re an explorative person. But all in all really tasty. I had their sweet potato chips and soy wings and they were absolutely yummy! 10/10 service from the waitress that served me. For cocktails I tried the Tamarind Whiskey Sour that tasted amazing! For someone who is absolutely not a whiskey lover, I would definitely take this a second and a third time without a thought. The food presentation was also creative and it’s safe to say that this place is an all-round winner!

Modern dining in a garden themed restuarant.

This is a modern restaurant that offers dining and drinking options in a very tranquil environment .The restaurant is garden themed giving it a leafy and cosy feel.It is located in Delta Towers,Westlands. The physical space is slightly small but the whole ambiance makes up for that. I went here on a first date and I think it was such a good choice. We ordered several things from their menu. For starters,we had their crispy chicken wings that were glazed with sweet soy sauce and topped with sesame seeds. It was about 950 shillings. Next ,for our main meal,we had theirJerusalem lamb chops. It was served with with rice and tahini slaw.It cost us around 1900/=.My partner was vegetarian so he ordered the vegetable grill instead. It was also served with rice and red cabbage coke slaw. The vegetable grill was around 1600 kshs.We downed our meals with cocktails that were both 800kshs.Personally,I found the lamb chops quite bland and not worth remembering. I’ve had better lamb chops that were juicier and spicier so for me it was very average .Every other meal we ordered was made to perfection. The cocktails were such a stunner. The venue was quiet with some background music playing creating a whole mood.Vibes on vibes. The restaurant is very easy to locate and it’s just by the road making it very convenient if you’re not driving.I would definitely recommend it.
