Sunday brunch at it's best.

5/ 5

If I had to choose my go to brunch hangout it will always be Radisson Blu hotel in upper hill. This hotel offers the best brunch experiences and top tier buffets on Sundays. They’re a little expensive but it’s all worth it and once you’re done you can’t regret it cause they’re just it. They have amazing staff ready and willing to guide you through anything you need in the friendliest tones and with kindness. Their meals during the buffets are prepared with skill making them very tasty and worthwhile. Did I mention their beaut view when in the hotel. Just amazing. I’d rate them a 5 out of 5 any day and can’t wait to go back for another Sunday brunch when I’ve saved up enough. I’ll bring friends. Whoever is reading this review make a point to go dine with them. Perfecto.

A 5-star experience all through

This hotel located in Upper Hill is among my favorite hotels in Nairobi. From its décor, to its restaurants and bars, it’s one of the few hotels where me and my friends get to have fun. Most hotels in Nairobi are fancy and serve really good food, but they are not fun places to spend your time. You just want to enter, admire the décor, eat your meal and leave the minute you are done. The hotel is located in a beautiful location and the views from its terraces are really amazing. From the front facing terrace you get to see the beautiful new buildings coming up in Upper Hill, while the back facing terrace overlooks a garden. The meals in this hotel are really good and they have my favourite buffet in town. The quality is top notch and the variety is wide. Almost all the deserts and meals available on their menu are available in the buffet. I am always spoilt for choice when I eat there. Everything I love is always available and the food always tastes amazing. I have never got a chance to stay in their hotel rooms. But the moment the opportunity comes up, I will take it. Am sure they are among the best hotel rooms in Nairobi judging by the quality of their restaurants and food. The hotel offers a 5-star experience and I highly recommend it.

Gorgeous rooms with an even more gorgeous pool. My go to staycation location.

This is one of the largest Radisson branches in Nairobi .During the corona period ,the branch in Westlands and upperhill were closed down and the only one that remained functional was this branch. I went here for a staycation. I had always wanted to visit this place and when mum told me I could go I almost lost it. This hotel is located close to city and it would only take you around twenty minutes to get here from the CBD. When you get here the first thing that attracts you is the whole green vibe around it. The restaurant surroundings are quite green making the landscape quite breathtaking. At the entrance the security is very strict and my luggage was checked thoroughly before I entered. The staff who were handling me were so friendly and I got my room and checked in pretty quickly. The whole time they were handling me they were just smiling and laughing making me feel very comfortable. In the room ,the finishing is exceptional. It’s spacious, had a minibar, a bathtub, air-conditioning and Wifi. It also had a balcony that offered such a beautiful view. Another thing that had me on my toes was their outdoor pool. It was so breathtaking and combined with the environs just a whole vibe. I genuinely spent most of my time by the pool and also enjoying their cocktails at the bar. The food that was served for breakfast was buffet the breakfast was part of the package. They had such a large variety and you could pick many things from the table. They have a gym that’s fully equipped though it’s a little bit small. I didn’t really use this service because who am I to go to the gym. I can barely run to save my life. I paid 17000/= per night. This pricing is a little bit on the higher side but when compared to their services it’s totally worth it.

My stay ended all too soon!

If I was to describe Radisson Blu, Upper Hill in one word, it would be IMMACULATE. Located just off a busy highway, the entrance leads you to the front of the restaurant where there is valet parking or drop-off. The concierge was very friendly and welcoming and a helped me remove my bags from the car. I checked in to the hotel around noon and was led to my room while a porter helped me with my bags. The view from my room was absolutely stunning. I had booked the room on a work trip since we had a conference there the following day and I couldn’t help feeling sad at the thought of having to leave. The room had a view of the hotel swimming pool and stunning architecture and a view of Nairobi City further beyond. The room itself was gorgeous with a queen-sized bed, a nice bathroom and has every amenity that I would need during the stay. While at Radisson, I used the conference room, the restaurant, the bathrooms at the hotel and of course, my suite. Using hotel bathrooms is a quirk of mine since I love rating their cleanliness and the ones at Radisson are by far the best bathrooms I’ve used. They are spacious and have a lounge area – where I sat and rested my feet a little bit from wearing heels all morning at the conference. The restaurant served amazing food–three courses and dessert. They do accept walk in guests to the restaurant so you can enjoy the chef’s special (which I recommend) My stay was very short-lived but I had an overall good experience, with no complaints. I regret not having enough time to use the spa and actually relax and I would go back again to spend some quality time with myself – not on a work trip this time!

I need a Staycation here.

Radisson Blue Upper Hill is an upscale hotel located in Upper Hill Nairobi. It’s mostly used for staycations by most of the people I know. I’ve also been there a couple of times but all those times I went to attend conferences. The interior is very very pleasing to the eye I assure you. If you want aesthetics ,they’ve got it. I also appreciate that the staff are really really friendly.Right from the entrance they make it feel like home .I also haven’t spent a night here but I know it offers a variety of amenities : gym ,sauna, steam rooms , outdoor pool ,hot tubs ,restuarants as well as bars. It also has several meeting rooms ,well ventilated , spacious and lit .The meeting facilities are actually some of the best. They offer the buffet menu and you get quite a dining experience from it. Another one of my favourite things was that the washrooms were so spotless it’s fascinating. I could literally sit there the whole day and not feel out of sorts at all.I dare say they were even cosy haha. The pricing is a bit on the high end and I would advise to check their website first before going there . I also grabbed a couple of drinks from their bar and their cocktails were quite nice .The ambiance was very soothing, perfect for taking a break from the world even for a minute.
