The River Cafe

We rode a bunch of trails and then stopped there for lunch. The venue is nice with a large seating area covered by a very high roof, open on all sides, so it feels like you are still connected with nature. Lovely location in Karura Forest. Can’t miss a walk or a bike ride and then stop here for brunch or lunch. Maureen made my reservation and she was not only friendly and efficient but professional as well. Kevin was our waiter and he guided us and recommended food and drinks and everything was so delicious! That said; enjoyed every bit of my Thai beef salad; washed down with a cold glass of ginger ale. They have a nice menu option also catering for the Vegetarian Friendly, Vegan Options, Gluten Free Options. The only downside is that the food is a bit pricy compared to the portion of food you get. But putting that aside, I enjoyed eating while feeling the breeze after a bike ride.
