Thika Road Mall

Shopping malls are the hallmark of modern-day life in various cities around the world. Nairobi is one of them. Malls are built to maximize efficiency and save time. Thika road mall well known as TRM is located along Thika super highway. I have visited this mall thrice since it was opened and I have never been disappointed. The first time I visited the Nikon shop the official Nikon store in Kenya, they are located on the ground floor. Nikon shop clearly understands what customer care services are. My friend and I were welcomed with a cup of coffee and biscuits as wewaited for our cameras to be fixed. The second time I went to Pizza Inn and the third time I took my friend’s daughter to the gaming section At this mall, shoppers will find supermarkets, grocery stores, clothing brands, restaurants, banks, hospitals, and even company offices. In one place, one can shop, find a form of entertainment, eat, see the doctor, and even engage in some form of outdoor physical activity. This mall is definitely one of the busiest shopping malls in Nairobi, primarily thanks to its location along the highway, and also due to the presence of major stores. The Mall is easily accessible off the Thika Superhighway and has ample parking facilities and transport links. It also houses a state-of-the-art conference facility, ideal for exhibitions, conferences, and social events.

Thika Road Mall [TRM] is a mall along Thika road and is found after Safari Park Hotel on your way to Thika. I’ve visited the Mall a couple of times in recent years. The Mall has restaurants, stores, and supermarkets that ensure you don’t miss what you are looking for. The items sold here tend to be priced much lower than in other malls. So if you are looking to pick up some giveaways or gifts, this Mall has very affordable items. There is a good choice of stores selling exceptional items. The salons found here are of high standards the staff is amicable. The Mall also has a wide range of food outlets, including well-known names such as Java, Pizza Planet, cake city, and Galito’s, some of which I have tried, and I had a very friendly and reasonably priced meal. The Mall is clean and safe. The parking space is vast, making it easy for people visiting the Mall to have an accessible parking time.

I decided to go visit and check the Shopping mall myself after I got rumours from friends how nice the place is Even while standing in front of the mall, I could tell that the rumors about this Shopping mall being exclusive were true. The extravagant designs and interior had me awestruck as it was nothing like the other shopping Centers we had in the area; the well-lite hallways were lined with well-known brands, crowded booths and stalls. I did check the prices of a few different items, and most of them were noticeably expensive considering similar substitutes you can get at the local supermarket.Its really great shopping place for everyone. Very good environment, cleanness, staff etc. Must visit.. remarkably exceptional

If you are looking for a place to have fun and the best eateries just visit the TRM. Chicken Inn serves with the best finger licking Chicken. They got good customer services and the restaurant is super clean. I remember getting a friendly service from one of their employees… Who treated to satisfaction.

Thika Road Mall (Commonly known as TRM) is located in Kasarani area North of the Nairobi City center ,along the busy Thika Road Superhighway. It hosts a wide array of businesses and stalls that cover most of the shoppers needs. The businesses include Carrefour Supermarket, Textbook Center, LC Waikiki stalls for clothing. Lounges and food joints like Galitos, Pizza Inn, Chicken Inn, Cream inn to Java. My favourite food joint here is Burger King who make the best sloppy joes that you get to enjoy in their fancy and cosy booths. The mall also has banks and ATMs, gaming shops, salons and barbershops and beauty shops. The workers here are friendly and ever willing to help especially when one gets lost and needs help getting direction which has happened to me a couple of times. TRM also has a great hangout for kids and teens as it has a gaming Center called Funscape with different games to entertain them like racing vitual cars, trampolines, bumber rides among others all indoors. The security here is tight with guards keen on ensuring maximum safety. Bags are checked both at the gate and main entrance. Covid-19 health guidelines are being followed here and ones temperature taken before entering the mall. The only downside to the mall is that it can get a bit too crowdy and noisy during the weekends and holidays as the locals go around this time to shop and have fun. The parking area also gets super full then.

A favorite for many living along Thika Road, TRM is convenient and has everything you need in a mall. It is located 14km from the city center. Parking is charged at KES50 per hour and there is ample parking. There is even parking on the rooftop. At the front entrance, you get to choose a place to eat between Java on your right and Chicken Inn and Pizza Inn on your left. Past that you get to see the size of the mall. Three stories with escalators and lifts. Stores like LC Waikiki which offers trendy clothes and Miniso where there is a gift for everyone. The main supermarket is Carrefour which offers the best deals for bilk shopping with a touch of ambiance. There is also a game where you can take the kids for exciting games like bumper cars and shooting hoops. A delight to both young and old. The also a couple of banks and a fully set gym. It’s the home of everything.
