Valentine cake house is a bakery that makes you get what you request. It is my favorite cake spot. This cake house has different branches across Nairobi, e.g., Embakasi, Buru Buru, Kitengela, Gateway mall, Fedha, and Rongai. The cakes are of various sizes, designs, and flavors [passion, chocolate, Oreo, vanilla, black/ white forest, etc.]. I have visited the shop located in the old mutual building, Kimathi Street, 3rd-floor several times and every time I am always happy with their cakes. The staff is always telling me to try something new. The last time I visited, I placed an order for my brother, who was having a birthday the following week. The cake was excellent, and he actually enjoyed it. So if you are looking for a place to buy affordable and delicious cakes, valentine cake house has you covered.

I’ve been to the Nairobi branch at the CBD which is located at Old Mutual Building on the 3rd floor. They have different cake flavors ranging from Black forest,vanilla, coconut lemon, chocolate fudge. They also do wedding cakes, birthday cakes, cakes for cooperate functions with amazing designs. They do deliveries too and they have the most friendly staff. Their cakes are affordable and they do give offers on their cakes as well.

Valentine cake house has existed for years. It where we get our birthday, wedding and other occasional cakes. They never disappoint. They have quite a number of branches all over Kenya but you’ll always find the same quality wherever you go. I usually get it from the one in langata. What I love about this branch is that I just need to make a phone call and my order is made and delivered at my doorstep. You don’t know how convenient that is for a cake lover like me. They have a variety of cakes but I mostly get the red velvet, the pina colada or the blackforest cake. Their cakes are really tasty, always fresh and very affordable. 1kg cakes usually go for about KES1100. You can also get slices of cakes at between KES150 and KES200. The customer service is also great. They tell you what the newest flavor is, what to try. I like it. To show just how good they are, they even have a baking school to teach others their great ways. Truly inspirational.

Valentine cake house is a sweet house hold name in Kenya when it comes to cake. Why sweet house hold name, because they make some of the tastiest cakes and their quality is standardized. So be it in Kisumu, Nairobi, Nakuru or Mombasa the red velvet you tasted the first time is the same tasty cake you’ll have in a different location. The one I frequent is in Nakuru 159km from Nairobi at Prime plaza. They have come through in numerous occasions be it for birthdays, weddings, graduations or just my personal consumption. I especially like their black forest cakes. They are so sweet and so spongy and soft. The cream is always on point. Not too sweet. For the black forest the sell a slice at 250/= and a kilogram at 1000/= You see that their price is also fair. To some extent I feel that I would be willing to pay more for that quality of cake. That detail to taste and quality is what has made them grow to the company they are now. I should stop by their place soon.

It’s one of the stores that has grown and established so many branches around the country. In Kisumu their branch is located in Mega Plaza. Mega Plaza is a business center that offers some of the best product vendors and service providers. This cake house is found on the first floor. To be honest it’s more of a kiosk because all they have is a stand that displays their cakes. They probably already worked it out and figured that they wouldn’t need so much effort because of how gorgeous and attractive their cakes already are. They display all of the cakes that they are serving and you can be able to survey what you’d want to eat. I’ve been here twice, the first time I was ordering a cake for someone’s birthday and the second time I just passed by and decided to grab a snack. The birthday cake was two storey and we were charged 5800/= it was tasty and it had a wonderful texture .I did not feel like anything was rushed. As for the piece of cake, I grabbed a slice of red velvet on one casual morning. They go for around 250/=. The cake was so spongy and even the icing tasted so good I couldn’t help myself. I ordered one but as soon as I walked past for quite a distance I ended running back to grab the second one. This place is quite small and there is no available dining section so all of their products have to be take away.
