1.)SHOKUDO
Shokudo are a Japanese cuisine casual café and specialty store located at two locations across Nairobi ; one at Astrol Petrol Station , Lenana Road and the other is located at Craft Centre Gigiri Lane and are open from 10am to 9pm.
Shokudo are passionate about Japanese Culture and Cuisine, and have indulged in it for over 20 years. In Japan, they are inspired, loved and challenged in high doses and therefore Shokudo are attempting to create a little Japan in Nairobi by bringing over 20 years of good food and good vibes to Nairobi.

Their founder and Head Chef is Mr. Youngho (Philip) Shin, who is one of the only licensed chefs in Japanese food in Kenya. He has over 30 years of experience in the restaurant and hotel business. Before coming to Kenya, he spent 10 years working for a 5 Star hotel in South Korea, where he learned his trade. With this level of experience, you can be rest assured that food coming from his hands will be the best in the country.
Tokyo are located on Kolloh Road, Lavington, which is their main and only branch and are open from 12pm to 10pm daily. Their food ranges from Kshs. 350 to Khs.7200.
