Burger King

It is one of the known restaurants with good quality burgers. I have tried their burger before, and it is excellent. King burgers is a restaurant that is located in different parts of Nairobi. I visited the one in Lavington James Gichuru Road, Nairobi. When I got there, I was welcomed by the waiter, and because I knew what I wanted, it only took a few minutes for my burger to be ready. Fresh and well made. Not over or undercooked. The chef managed to make it the perfect burger just the way I wanted. This place is the real deal for amazing burgers and is a must to eat if you have never eaten there before. Love at first chew!

I was among those people who were over the moon when burger King landed in Kenya. I had tasted their burgers when I went to the US to visit my aunt. I went to the Hub, Karen branch which is 15min away by car from our place. By mat you’ll go to Kencom and get the buses that go to Ngong 4W….the fair should be 60/=. You will then alight at Shell Ngong Road. You can either walk for 5min or take boda. We went on a weekday (Thursday) since there aren’t that many people and it was before 12noon. I ordered the whooper combo meal (750/=) comes with fries & soda. Lé hubz wanted the Double cheeseburger combo meal which has fries,soda+ 2-signature flame grilled beef parties topped with melted cheese,pickles,mustard,ketchup,toasted sesame seed bun (700/=) After 10min our order was ready and to be honest I was disappointed 😞 The portions are a total rip off. What you see is not what you get,so when you go please lower your expectations. Then the taste was just there,I didn’t even feel like I was eating a burger 😕 None of us were satisfied with our meal that we had to go elsewhere to eat. The only thing I loved was the ambience,kid play area,clean space and pleasant staff. Will I be going back.? Yes, but only on days they have the offer for buy1get1 free..which is Wednesdays. And I should warn you not to try their Lavington drive-through on days they have offers bcz you’ll wait forever…they not fast. If you want to enjoy this offer please go from 11am

Burger King is an international burger brand and food store and has many branches around Nairobi. Burger king has branches in Lavington, Two Rivers, Thika Road Mall, The Hub Karen and Next Gen Mall on Mombasa Rd. I’ve eaten at Burger King twice , once at Two Rivers and the other time at their Thika Rd Mall branch. Upon entry one has to walk to the counter to order because one cam only get food after payment. They normally have their meals and combos on the screen above the counter so choosing a meal if you’re still undecided is quite easy once you get there. I had a hard time choosing what kind of burger I wanted and ended up getting their double steak burger after the waiter at the counter talked me through the different burgers they had to offer . He was really kind and patient , their staff is really nice and friendly. I got that plus a side of onion rings plus one of their shakes which are honestly really good. I personally love my cheese all gooey and runny but when my burger arrived, the cheese was just a thin tiny slice sandwiched in between. This was a bit disappointing so I had to ask for extra cheese that was an additional Ksh100. Normally at other restaurants, I’ve never had to order extra cheese which was why I got a bit put off. Their burgers taste nice but the size should also be improved.

When I first went to burger king I forgot that it’s fast food restaurant and I guess I had alot of expectations. As soon as I arrived all it gave was a quick meal vibe. Their burgers are definitely not the best burgers. First of all they are very small and I had to order two to actually get full. Secondly the taste is just there and the food is just usual. Their sitting spaces are also not very convenient and the washroom was particularly small I had to wait quit a while in line. When I got in the hygiene was also not at per and the whole experience just became uncomfortable.There is really not much to say in terms of ambiance and decor when it comes to this fast food restaurant. It’s pretty simple. Their portions when it comes to fries is also quite small but like I said since I got two and my stomach was happier because of it. The fries are actually well made and perfectly thin. The food took quite a short while and I didn’t have to wait for so long .When I saw the burger and how tiny it was I guess I understood why(hahaha). The service was good and the staff were lovely. In general there’s really nothing remarkable to write about. The only thing I can commend them for is that the prices are quite cheap and for two burgers and a drink I spent around 1000/=
