One of the best centres of higher learning
Jomo Kenyatta University is among one of the top universities in Kenya and is located in the heart of Juja, Kiambu County. The university is well-known for offering high quality education and great contribution to the betterment of the country as a whole through its innovative research projects. Jkuat is a hub for research and gives its students opportunities to venture into their area of interest thus giving a chance for their young minds to be movers and shakers of the society intergrating learning from a problem solving and prevention approach. Jkuat University has great facilities including their huge library, huge olympic size pool , well equipped labs with up to date technology. The university hospital known as Jkuat hospital has qualified staff and offers a wide range of health services to both Jkuat students and residents of Juja town. The university is situated in a beautiful serene environment suitable for learning with parks within the school where students can do group discussions and personal reading in between classes. The benches here in the parks for instance Cherry Park have sockets so one can charge his or her phone/laptop. The parks are Wi-Fi enabled therefore a great place to just relax and do research on assignments too. A unique feature about Jkuat University is that it is one of the few universities that houses another university within its walls. Jomo Kenyatta University houses the well built campuses of the Pan Africa Union Institute of Basic Sciences Technology and Innovation (PAUSTI) which is a institute branch of the Pan Africa University. The convenient location of the KCB bank which is just near the school main entrance makes it easier for students to do money transactions and pay fees directly into the school account without the hustle of having to go search for bank agents. The great academic achievements of the university make it a great place to acquire higher learning for students both within and outside the country as it has numerous exchange programs even with its campus in Rwanda.
