Movenpick is a high-end beautiful restaurant that’s in Westlands in the heart of the beautiful town. Entrance is good and it with enough parking space with a beautifully well lit reception. My lift took me to the top most floor. You don’t just use any lift 😅you use the one on your far right. The view you get from that place is amazing and I would recommend that the best time to arrive at this hotel is at night around 7:30 pm. The ambience is just wow. I can’t remember the name of the food I ordered but it was great. I’m not keen to details well because 5 star ⭐ restaurant have very difficult food names it’s not easy to remember. It was well cooked the staff are friendly you get your orders in time and everything is just great. Now the rotation part caught my eyes I didn’t even realize till I couldn’t see the counter. It’s like an earth rotation you don’t feel it. I had to get up and confirm what was going on 😂😂😂but I loved the experience. The view and the rotating part will always bring me there. I love Movenpick.

My husband and I went to Movenpick Hotel and Residence for a dinner date in 2021, My first glimpse of the hotel was a little alarming: the main entrance lay down an unpromising little road, and even before our taxi could get in, we were stopped and asked to alight—for a security check, as it turned out. Fortunately, the hotel reception was just a few steps from there, We received a very welcoming reception from Serah and Ann Marrie and had the best experience right from the entrance to the end of our dinner. The hotel is absolutely beautiful in design. The color and artwork featured in the lobby and restaurants make you want to buy the art/furniture and take it home with you The food was excellent, very well done, delicious and with generous portions… we had the starter Beef Taglianta; Main -lamb shank with steamed veggies….. I can recommend this dish….the desert Tiramisu and Movenberry were even much better, Chef David came to our table to get a review of the meal, which was very commendable! and Felix was the best pleasant, respectable and friendly waiter, he explained the menu and made sure we made a great food choice. For sure he made us feel sooooo welcomed. we cannot forget their assorted fruits, The restaurant was giving you a taste of everything and the presentation was definitely a 5-star standard… The view was spectacular and to add to it the restaurant was rotating! this gave us a breathtaking panoramic view of the whole of Nairobi. something you can only find at Movenpick Hotel. We will definitely be back again!

The revolving restaurant was the best part where you get to see the city of Nairobi

4.5/ 5

Have you ever thought of having a good time with someone you love and having a romantic lunch or dinner? Don’t worry anymore, Mövenpick Hotel & Residences Nairobi is located in the heart of Westlands, 20 kilometers from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. The hotel accommodation provides easy access to the city center, while Nairobi National Park can be reached in 45 minutes. So I decided to visit the hotel with my colleague and have the experience. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the staff, and we were taken straight to the top revolving restaurant located on the 24th floor, a great dining venue.

The revolving restaurant gives you a beautiful 360 degrees view of Nairobi, which looks supernatural at night. The décor, the music, and the ambiance of the restaurant were so lovely and magical. We are given a table near a window, and we can view the city of Nairobi from different angles. The view is simply breathtaking. Unfortunately, the restaurant was almost closing when we got there, so we were told we could only have a drink.

At first, we were okay with it until the waiter who was serving us said the chef a something for us. To our surprise with were given the soup, ‘cauliflower veloute’.it was cream of cauliflower, ginger, Mediterranean fresh leaves pesto, pistachio biscotti, apple pannacotta. The soup was excellent, fantastic and tasty and it only cost ksh900. We are later provided with a bottle of sparkling wine which cost 4,800. The wine was beyond my expectation. It was B &Cavalieri Reali Prosecco DOC Treviso extra dry from Italy. It was well balanced and very smooth.

The service offered was exceptional. The waiter was always concerned about our experience and if we wanted a refill which made the service perfect. The restaurant has professional staff willing to take things the extra mile. The service producer was up to standard. I love every part of it. It was the first time I enjoyed every moment in the restaurant, and I would love to go back there and try more of their offer. It was an authentic five stars experience from the moment we entered the facility until your departure.

Luxury dining with a beautiful panoramic view

4.5/ 5

This is a luxury property with very beautifully decorated quarters that offers the celebrated revolving restaurant and open air swimming pool in Nairobi. What made me go here was the whole buzz around the rotating restaurant and the beautiful views. It is located in Westlands and is pretty easy to find. This place is very chic and the ambiance is very pleasant. The decor is African themed and you could tell they took their time. The waiting service at this place gets a rating of 10/5 from me. I remember I was served by two beautiful women who were so gentle making my heart melt. In those few hours we interacted we practically became best friends (hahaha). The pricing is definitely on the higher side and when visiting this place you need to go prepared to dive into your pocket a little bit. I went here for the Nairobi burger festival and dined at the Baluba restaurant the burgers were really huge and quite tasty . I had the famous `Big Moments burger ‘and I promise you when I say value for your money I mean it one hundred percent .It was so huge and filling. The patty was also so tasty and my mouth was in heaven for a few minutes. My partner however had a problem with a burger saying it was too bland and they actually took it back and made another chef prepare a whole other juicy burger at absolutely no cost. Talk about great customer service. Their mocktails were good and we spent around 6000/= by the end of the night. Just from the dining experience I think a night or two in this high end restaurant would be such a bliss.

I need a vacation here.

4.4/ 5

Movenpic Hotel and Residences is a five-star restaurant located in Nairobi Westlands Area. Their edge is their attention to detail. The atmosphere is serene, the views so scenic and yes it’s the restaurant that rotates 360 degrees. I mean I look out it’s this view, sip my cocktail and I look up again it’s a whole other beautiful view like am I in the same restaurant anymore?? I did not spend the night there but trust me it’s on the bucket list because they offer a variety of amenities such as a spa, bar, restaurant, pool, and even their ballroom. Instead, I did the next best thing: Bottomless Sunday Brunch. My two favourite words: Bottomless and Brunch. Movenpic absolutely did not disappoint. I paid 4200 for the bottomless brunch from 12:30 to 4 pm at the Baluba restaurant in Movenpic but with the holiday season upon us, it now goes for 3900 only.

There was a band playing very chill music not too loud that you can’t converse. There’s access to the outdoor heated pool. The food and grilling stations around the pool and in the restaurant we’re insane!! My favourite was the personalized pasta station and the dessert station. The cold cuts we’re also really good and if you’re either a chocolate or cheese lover: it’s the place to be. I also like that there really was a variety of grilling stations offering different kinds and mouth-watering flavours of the meat. The service was also exceptionally good and fast. Definitely rate it 4.5 /5
