One of the most aesthetically pleasing restaurants with an amazing ambience in Nairobi located at One Africa building in Westlands. It is definitely a good place to go for a lunch date/meet-up. They have a very broad menu with burgers, pizza, pasta, drinks, wine, cocktails, mock-tails, and they also have a vegan and kids section which goes to show how inclusive they are. They also have a very lovely bathroom and a great customer service as well with staff who are very kind. The food prices are affordable from as low as Ksh 650

I visited Honey and Dough earlier in the year in January and was highly impressed by how beautifully it was set up boasting the city views through their floor to ceiling windows. Their thoughtfully chosen colors and interiors sparks up a feeling of calm and royalty at the same time. Their attendants and servers are so well spoken, very hospitable and gave great helpful suggestions on picking the right meals and desserts for our group as well as advising us on the portions. Their presentation of food and drinks will definitely make you want to take out your phone and snap pictures of your plate against the setting sun views. The general hygiene of the entire place was visibly well taken care of. food was palatable. Did not have the wow factor in terms of taste but was pleasant. Id probably rate their foor 7/10 their menu has a great variety of cuisines to choose from ensuring all preferences are catered to. their desserts are delicious and if you visit you must be sure to try at least one of their cheese cakes,

Honey and dough restaurant is one of the restaurant that is becoming highly popular among Nairobi residents because of its beautiful interior and affordable pricing. Honey and Dough is located in One Africa Place Westlands just about minutes from the CBD. Honey and Dough restaurant have a really nice well lit space with nice cosy chairs and their signature H+D dining nests to seat in in case you want some privacy or more intimate eating experience here. My favorite part about dining here was their interior which even has a plant theme to it and out front a nice led light sign saying ” Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food” which I absolutely loved. Their waiters are really professional and welcoming. We had some nice chicken spring rolls which were Ksh 650 and their pork chops which were tasty and some salad. They have great happy hour deals from 3pm everyday however I would suggest they serve their cocktails in larger glasses and improve a bit on their portions & food quality. Besides that, this is a great place for a date or a chill afternoon with friends or family and definitely worth a try. Sadly I didn’t get a chance to try out their gin bar but there’s always a next time.

Located on 7th floor One Africa Place, Waiyaki Way, Nairobi. This place has got to be one of my favourite places. Being on the 7th floor, the view is breathtaking. I went there with my friend for dinner and I must say it’s perfect. Picture perfect. From the moment you walk in you will notice that they have paid attention to their decor and the detail in this place is crazy. We had reserved a table next to the windows and got there at around 6pm. The way the sky changes colour during this time is a sight to behold.I suggest you make a reservation as this place get really full during evenings. The view of the city from the restaurant is the best part. This place is very Instagram worthy. The service is remarkable with little or no waiting time to be served. They have a range of cocktails to choose from and don’t get me started on the food. They have happy hour from 3-7pm and you get 2 cocktails for every two you buy. The cocktails range from 900KES-1250KES. The prices here are not so affordable with meals ranging from 1000KES-2500KES. This place is a must go if you are in Nairobi.

Awesome ambience, not-so-awesome food.

This restaurant has among the most well thought out aesthetics. It is absolutely gorgeous! Well lit, cute knickknacks on a display shelf and warm lighting. The restaurant arrangement offers sufficient circulation space, good table layouts with varying seating arrangements. Large tables for larger groups and smaller cosy ones for intimate seating. Nice private nooks at the outdoor section as well. The washrooms look really good too- gives a bamboo sort of vibe. A weird thing to note but owing to how often women take mirror selfies of their outfits, then this observation is justified. Their customer service on social media was fantastic. I personally communicated with a lady via whatsapp. The responses were timely and the lady was very kind and patient and even advised me on an ideal seating position and the down payment to make for reservation. Unfortunately, that is as much as this restaurant has to offer. The service in person was terrible. The food took too long. Waitresses were not friendly and very unprofessional. They kept mixing up our orders (I was there for lunch with my friends, table for 8). To make it worse, our food was cold on arrival. The food was very mediocre, very bland. I ordered Pasta Ravioli and when the food arrived, we couldn’t find the pasta. On further enquiries they insisted that it was in there when clearly there was no pasta. I eventually changed my order to buttered chicken and Jeera Rice. I frankly hated it! I expected bursts of flavor and was severely underwhelmed by how bland it was. I absolutely did not get my money’s worth. The drinks were however, good. Perhaps Honey and Dough is just good for happy hour.

Serving a whole lot of ambiance

This is a recently opened restaurant. As soon as it opened everyone was talking about how beautiful the whole place was. Trust me when you get there you really don’t get disappointed .Their motto is let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food and as a foodie am just gonna go ahead and say amen to that. It’s located in One Africa Place next to delta towers along Waiyaki way. The place is very easy to find. I went here on date after a recommendation from a fellow foodie. As soon as I entered I fell in love. The colors and their tones, the lighting fixtures, the seats and the sitting arrangement,as well as the general decor made the place absolutely stunning. In short for ambiance I’m giving them all my money because it’s on point. Not only the inside, but also the outside view of the city skyline is quite stunning. If you love good photos this place has a perfect backdrop. I hate to say that all they served is the ambiance. I felt that their food needed a little bit of more effort. With the ambiance I just expected a little bit better. This only applied to the food because the drinks were actually well done. When I went there( I don’t know about now )there was no happy hour deal on their cocktails and I felt like that was such a flop. I ordered a beef burger and the whole patty and the whole burger on its own was not that tasty. I just expected it to be a little bit juicer. It was 1050/= and it was served with a side potato mash. I also had their pepperoni pizza and it was just alright nothing grand to report about it. It was 1250/=. In short grand ambiance, great cocktails and fair food.

Birthday dinner with great views.

This place had been on my wish list for sometime so when my best friend finally took me for my birthday dinner here it was the perfect gift. The restaurant is in westlands, 7th Floor One Africa Place. We took an uber from town which cost us 180KES but you can also use a matatu from odeon at 50KES during offpeak hours. The distance from town is short and takes less than 10 minutes with no traffic. The ambience is amazing. I have to say very Instagram worthy ?. They really put some thought to it. The restaurant is on the 7th floor so you’ll enjoy the views of the surrounding city. At night it comes to life. The place is huge but gets quite full in the evenings so make a reservation on their website. The service is good and their waiters are very polite and friendly. Now about the food and drinks…..offcourse we had to catch the happy hour. A girl loves her cocktails. Their happy hour runs from 3pm to 7pm everyday. I  had 2  Fallen angels which was 950KES for both. They were yummy but didnt hit.I like my cocktails strong. I also ordered the chicken burger at 1050KES. The patty was super juicy and the ban was soft. It comes with a side of fries. Maybe order an extra side?? My best friend ordered the pork chops which was 1400KES. I didnt taste it because I dont eat pork but she went crazy about the teriyaki sauce.  She ordered the same cocktails as me. It was the perfect dinner with my girl! Definitely going back for the views, the ambience and the teriyaki sauce!!
