Jumia is an e-commerce site in Kenya among others that help circulate very large size goods at a price that is so good to smile on. It covers various categories of commodities ranging from household appliances and up to fashion and gadgets. Personally my experience with Jumia has been great! I can only speak for myself. Here is something I consider an okay service creteria shopping on Jumia. 1. I stick to items and online stores that offer the JUMIA EXPRESS delivery because it’s fast and reliable – and I think these stores have a good agreement and relationship with Jumia and they can be trusted more than other stores. 2. When buying items, buy only from listings with the “OFFICIAL STORE” tag. 3 . thoroughly look at the pictures of the product, the product description, and most importantly, the product reviews (number of stars, numbers of reviews per each star, how recent the reviews are, customer’s experience). For the most part, that has made my experience okay and almost seamless – even when it comes to the returns. The two pictures attached to my review, I ordered 3 years ago and clearly they are fairly new and intact. , I would reccomend you give them a try especially if you’re new.

I loved my experience every single time I’ve ordered with Jumia Kenya. First, their prices are affordable and the products I ordered and received were up to standard and quality. Delivery is fast with them and I love the payment on delivery option and their Jumia agent at Kayole Junction along Kangundo road is very nice and accomodating. I also love how they’ll inform you once your product has arrived and when you go for pick up, it will be there. Jumia food is also amazing. I’ve used them twice and so far my experience with them has been superb.

Is it just me ama sometimes Jumia have like “fake” sales. Like to be honest…whenever they have this big brand day sales.. if you are a regular shopper in the supermarket like me, you would be able to tell the difference. For instance they can say Ariel goes for 500/= but then on that sale day it’s 299/=…..yet all day everyday hio ndio bei ya Ariel. Not forgetting on top of that you’ll be charged delivery fee. It’s not that I dislike Jumia but it’s something I’ve noticed. So I can caution you to always counter check whenever kuna hizi “sales”. My experience with them has been good..no complaints on delivery or receiving bad products. I recommend for the pick up option instead of delivery option if you have the time to go to Jumia..it is cheaper. I personally wait for days they have free delivery 😃Some sales are totally legit and others are meh 😐 And please follow some of these influencers on Instagram like Zarilyn Monroe,Kim Kardicey,Murugi Munyi,Wajesus etc….so you can get codes from them and get to save up some coins. Follow Jumia on IG too..like right now they have bundle offers on nivea products..if you buy a certain product you get either a tote,wash bag or fanny pack. One thing I don’t like about Jumia is communication….especially if it’s something you need more clarity on. They don’t have ati a real customer care representative when you call 0711011011..they refer you to their site to go read. Which is annoying in my opinion because the reason i called is to talk to someone so they can elaborate abc. Please don’t hesitate to try it out though

I love using the Jumia app during Black Friday period because they have good deals. It is very convenient since items are delivered to your doorstep at an extra delivery fee and service fee. They have a variety of payment options either on purchase via mobile payment methods or payment on delivery. I love using the Jumia food app since they offer nice deals. It uses one’s location and suggests restaurants that are nearby. Delivery time depends on the distance and time because during rush hour there is traffic therefore it would take longer. It is a legit app and very reliable. If goods have not met the consumer’s standards there is a customer care line which one can contact and the issue will be resolved. Jumia comes in handy when one has a tight schedule and I would highly recommend.

An online store that I’m addicted to! Most times I’ve used Jumia I’ve not been disappointed by their services. The orders I’ve done come within the predicted time and I always receive a call on the day of delivery and if I’m unavailable we can always reschedule. My best time is the November black Friday month because I’m able to buy the items I’ve been wanting for so long at friendly discounted prices. They have an option of pay on delivery unless what you’re purchasing is being shipped from abroad. I always go with the first option because hey, I’m African! I have to first appreciate the item before I commit myself to purchase it. Ohh you might also pick up your order from the nearest jumia store to you if delivery is at a cost or if it’s convenient for you or if your order might just find you at your doorstep! The delivery guys I’ve met were so polite and even helped to carry some of the heavy items to my house. Make sure to confirm your purchase because I once received a carpet of the smaller size than what I had paid for but on calling their customer care the problem was sorted. So be sure to confirm your purchase before it’s too late. Jumia always gives 15 days of returning any unsatisfied, unfitting or wrong order. You can utilize it. There is also a variety of restaurants through which you can order food online and get it to your doorstep. I love Jumia food because it actually covers many areas even outside Nairobi. My experience with Jumia has been reliable and great!
