Who doesn’t appreciate some delicious , lip-smacking, juicy burgers that are cheesy as well as satisfyingly filling? Here is a list of my favorite 10 ( in no particular order ) burger joints in Nairobi that I bet you’d love to try out.
1.)UNCLE NENE’S
The burger gods really show off with Nairobi’s most trusted cloud kitchen Uncle Nene’s. Uncle Nene’s serve their delectable burgers with their signature delicious , seasoned fries and fresh coleslaw. Uncle Nene’s food items range from Kshs. 700 to Kshs. 1250/=.
They operate from Monday to Saturday and delivery orders close at 4pm while pick up orders close at 4.25pm everyday.
My favorite Uncle Nene’s burger is their beef , bacon and cheese burger .
2.)MAMA ROCKS
Mama Rocks is the first fusion food chain establishment that marries the American style gourmet burger with African flavors from across the four corners of the Africa continent. They serve African handcrafted gourmet burgers with a side of seasoned potato fries and a sauce of your choice. Mama Rocks also give you an option to choose sweet potato fries or plantain but an additional cost .
Mama Rocks have pizza, wings , fries, milkshakes and sweet treats that are all unique creations in their menu too. Mama Rocks food items range from Kshs. 150/= to Kshs. 1000/=.
My favorite burger is Mango Masai burger served with sweet potato fries and the only brave hot sauce.
3.)BITE ME BURGERS
This is an impressive small business ran by Ediko Munga , that is very affordable and with an extensive menu enough to satisfy those stubborn burger cravings and munchies. Bite Me Burgers is a dial a delivery business that will get you your order in no time.
It’s more special as Ediko Munga deliveries the burgers straight to your doorstep. For burgers , fries and affordable delivery fees across Nairobi , Bite Me Burgers is your safest bet . Bite Me Burgers operate from 10am to 8pm daily and the orders are made through text or call on 0708699747.
My favorite burger is their beef cheese burger . Go ye and treat yourself, you’ll love it.
4.) URBAN GOURMET
Urban Gourmet take the humble burger to a whole new level with flavors that pack a punch. They serve up 19 different, juicy and delicious burgers and a variety of extras and toppings. Their bold burgers are served with either fries , onion rings and coleslaw. Customers can watch live matches and big sports events on their HD screens.
Urban Burger have a crazy Mondays double up burger offer , happy hour on draught beer from 4-7pm everyday , a 50 % off steaks every Thursday and a ladies night on Wednesdays. Urban Burger operate from 10am to 9pm daily and have food items that range from Kshs. 100/= to Kshs. 1590/=.
My favorite burger is Santa Fe, its real spicy and comes with avocado, yumm.
5.) BWIBO RESTAURANT
Bwibo Restaurant is a quite new establishment that elevated from a cloud kitchen to a physical location . It is a chilled out restaurant which is ran by the lovely Vanessa Bwibo. Vanessa Bwibo has a passion for food and it clearly shows through her business and her service.
Bwibo Restaurant serve up 6 diverse burger flavors that are loaded with so much goodness. Bwibo Restaurant burgers follow the mantra ,’ juicy or nothing’ and this is what keeps you hooked to their burgers. The burgers range from Kshs. 700/= to Kshs. 980/=.
The double feast burger is my absolute favorite .
6.) GRILL SHACK
Grill Shack serve towering burgers made with 100% pure Angus beef . They offer a predominantly meaty menu of steaks, ribs and burgers in a casual yet industrial setting with an open style kitchen which allows diners to enjoy the theatre of the kitchen. The menu also offers an enticing selection of starters , burritos, seafood, salads and cocktails.
The Grill Shack burgers range from Kshs. 790 to Kshs.1290. My favorite burger is the Chef’s specialty rib meat burger . It is a one of a kind burger made of braised rib meat grilled to perfection with lettuce , tomato , caramelized onion and cocktail sauce .
7.) BETWEEN TWO BUNS KE
Between Two Burgers is a cloud kitchen located in Kahawa Sukari with extreme gourmet burgers that are massive, messy , tasty and filling . Between Two Burgers have the tallest and messiest burgers in Nairobi.
Between Two Burgers operate from 11:30 pm to 8pm , Monday to Sunday and take orders via 0708319880. Between Two Buns burger prices range from Kshs. 450 to Kshs. 900.
The double cluck burger is a banger , it’s made up of fresh buns with two huge deep-fried chicken breasts and some good secret sauce .
8.) NAB A BURGER
Nab a Burger is the newest burger joint in Nairobi. Located at The Office Park , Riverside Drive in a container mini-van . Nab A Burger serve creative burger creations with equally creative names with a side of tasty fries.
Nab a Burger operates from Tuesday to Sunday as from 1pm to 8pm. Their burgers range from Kshs. 500 /= to Kshs. 1200.
Their ngori burger is my favorite burger , followed closely by pilipili party both at Kshs. 800/= .
9.)FNKY BRGR
A sister to Sierra burger , Fnky gourmet burgers are not just ordinary burgers, they are a lifestyle of quality and bringing fun to your table. Fnky Brgr have 12 burger flavors and all of them are served with fnky fries and fresh salad.
Fnky Brgr’s burgers range from Kshs. 600 to Kshs. 900 and they operate from Monday to Sunday , from 11am to 8pm daily . I’ve only had their hotstepper burger because of the extra jalapeno’s that add a kick to my meal.
10.) SIERRA BURGER
Sierra Bar and Grill is a vibrant Kenyan boutique brewery and restaurant inspired by the founder’s experience in Thailand, California and Bavaria that introduces the world to dry aged angus beef patties.
Sierra Burger meat patties are sourced from Laikipia and Timau. They serve up both wagyu and angus beef steaks that have quite a reputation . Their burgers range from 1350 /= to Kshs. 2800 /=.
