Mr. Price Group Limited is a publicly traded retail company based in South Africa. Founded in 1985, Mr. Price opened in 1987 after the owners bought a controlling interest in John Orrs Holdings, whose trading divisions were The Hub and Miladys. The company has locations across the country, i.e., Kilimani, Junction Mall, Sarit Center, Westgate, etc. Mr. P.rice is a quality international brand for men’s, women &kid’s fashion. Men’s smart casual wear, shoes & accessories at affordable prices. Women’s clothing, accessories, jewelry, lingerie, and stylish footwear. Kids clothing at an affordable price for both girls and boys. I came across the one in CBD Nairobi and decided to buy something for my niece. I saw everything that I knew she would love. The shop is well kept, clean, and refreshing. The staff is helpful with the selection and gives you the best advice on what to choose. The items are of high quality and are at affordable prices.

Afordable, Durable store

Mr. Price is a quality international brand for men’s, women & kids’ fashion. Men’s smart casual wear, shoes & accessories at reasonable prices. Women’s clothing, accessories, jewelry, lingerie, pajamas, and stylish footwear. Kids clothing at affordable prices, for both girls and boys ages 2 to 14 years. With various brunches in Nairobi Mr Price has made a fashion statement in Nairobi, not only are all their products affordable, but durable and unique. I have visited a number of their brunches and their prices are constant. in Westlands, I decided to make a small detour and finally check out the new Mr. Price. My, oh my, was I in for a treat! In this large store, I was greeted first by beautiful bedding, complete with perfectly-made beds to let you see just how great this bedding would look in your own home. (This is when I first spotted the mattress pads). While perusing the store that day, I saw gorgeous rugs and glasses of all variety. I saw beautiful ready-made curtains, dried flowers, toilet mats, towels, and laundry baskets. Basically, I saw everything that you could possibly ever think of needing in your home. As I walked around taking everything in, I nostalgically began to think back to when I first started living on my own in Nairobi and how much I’d have loved for such a store to be open at the time. I love their offers, and many times when visiting The junction brunch I sometimes wonder if their offers are for real until I make a purchase. Their staff is very friendly, whenever they see that you seem to be stranded one will approach and request to help you. I must admit I never miss their offers, in fact, I have bought shoes for my son that he will probably be wearing in a year’s time LOL! I just couldn’t let the shoes just go like that. This is just how good Mr Price is!

Beautiful prints at affordable prices

The first time i saw this logo i was actually scared to enter and shop because i assumed everything would be expensive. I’ve been a loyal customer since 2011 when they opened their first branch in Nyali centre Mombasa. Those days their tags read RT not like nowadays MRP. I remember I was heavily pregnant with my first and my mom is the one who took me to shop from their maternity section. Their style and variety was simply out of this world 😍. They have a couple of branches in Nairobi especially in these big malls. I frequently visit the one at Sarit centre or junction. All their branches are easily accessible by mat. I love that their price points are very affordable with Prices ranging between Ksh.150-4000. All their shops are well lit, clean changing rooms and friendly staff if you need help with something. I have to say I am quite sad that their quality has really gone down over the years. The clothes they produce now are not the same as from way back when. The clothes are not durable as they start tearing very easily and the color fades quite fast. Me I used to finish all my coins here when I used to shop for official wear 3years ago..they were so on point and unique. Not like nowadays where you can find everyone in Nairobi having the same style. Then their trousers dont cater to us girls with curves🥲 My mans used to love their shirts and t-shirts but since the quality went down he’d rather shop from Lc Waikiki. I don’t even shop for me nowadays instead I shop for my kids especially the girls section has such cute clothes. Whenever i shop for my kids i start with the clothes that are in their PRICED TO GO bcz they are heavily discounted and you can never miss something to add to cart. And has anyone noticed that nowadays they don’t even have flat shoes or cute sandals anymore 😔. This was my one stop shop for ballerina or official flat shoes because of how affordable they are….the most expensive would be at most Ksh.1100. Even their jewelry selection has just been very boring of late. I would say their store is no longer family centred like the good old days. Their target group market is from age 1-21years. And you should note that they no longer give out bags to carry your shopping..you have to buy. The small bag is 10/=,medium 15/= and large 20/=. They are trying to encourage guys to recycle. Don’t get me wrong I still love Mr. Price but I just wish they would pull up their socks and cater to all age groups.

Amazing clothes with great variety

MrPrice Fashion is a clothes retail store with branches in various countries and many branches in Kenya. Their braches are located in Garden City Mall, Capital Centre, Sarit Centre , Yaya Centre and the CBD. Their signature red and white cap logo is hard to miss. I love their Garden City branch because it is barely ever packed so the attendants are quite keen on helping and devoting their attention to the few customers inside especially on weekdays when the store is least busy. The one thing I lovw about MrPrice is that there is something for everyone. Their clothes collection always come in all sizes therefore offering fashionable plus size wear which is usually an issue with most stores. Another great thing about shopping at MrPrice is that they have changing rooms where you can try on your clothes of clothes to ensure they fit right before purchase. I specially love their skirts which always fit just right !The one thing most people do not know about MrPrice is that they also stock cheap and unique house decor so if you are looking to renew or add some household decor. This is definitely the place to shop. Their beautiful unique vases which are my absolute favorite go for Ksh 900 and definitely worth every penny. Next time you pass by a MrPrice shop just make a quick stop because whatever they have in store (literally) may surprise you!

Simple outfits at a really affordable price.

Mr price is a very common clothing store in Kenya especially in Nairobi. Most of the people I know shop from this store. It’s selling point is mostly that majority of their clothes are usually very affordable. In addition to that their choice of fabric is very good and most of them are durable .An outfit I get from here typically lasts me about two years without any wear or tear. They sell such a large variety of clothes catering for all ages and genders with no discrimination whatsoever. There’s literally something for everyone. The only thing to note is that sometimes they don’t have clothes that are all inclusive in regards to sizes. Their plus size collection especially when it comes to jeans is very limited. Even if you get something there’s not such variety. I find their clothes very trendy although the term Nairobi uniform really holds when it comes to this store. I promise you the fact that there’s something for everyone means everyone is gonna have something from there. I frequent this store because of their cute little tops and t shirts which I find very affordable. Their dresses are usually very stylish and also quite classy . Another one of my favorite accessories from here is their non optical glasses that I regularly buy for 500/= . Mr price opened a sister branch in Sarit center called Mr price home. From the name alone it plainly sells home related accessories such as furniture, home decor, bed and bath supplies and lastly kids and baby accessories . With this other branch it became a wholesome entity and I think all of your needs would definitely be met here.

Least favourite shopping experience in the CBD

Located in the Nairobi CBD adjacent to the National Archives building, Mr Price is quite the landmark. The store here is one of the smaller versions of the department store with larger stores in Garden City Mall and Two Rivers Mall. Possibly the easiest location to wait for someone or a taxi if you are unfamiliar with the city, there are a lot of people outside the mall who may appear to be hovering at first glance. There is also a lot of activity outside the store, being as it is near a bus stage. The store caters to both men and women, having a wide variety of selection to choose from. Women’s clothes include bags, jeans, shorts, dresses, blouses at an average price of 7$. I’m not quite familiar with the men’s section although the appear to be well stocked in that department. Since it is one of the oldest and smaller stores, the space is quite limited with narrow aisles and few changing rooms. This does not give one an enjoyable shopping experience. The staff here are not so helpful and leave one to wander through the store unattended to. I would shop here if I wanted something quickly while in the CBD. It is however my least favourite of the branches.

Clothes!Clothes and more clothes!

This is basically regarded as a clothing store. It doubles down to a shoe store, accessories store and also sells some home fixtures. Mr.price is a chain store that has several branches in Kenya in different malls.I know of the ones in Garden City and The Junction Mall. I’ve actually only visited those two.One thing I love about them diversity .They have men’s clothing, women’s clothing as well as clothing for kids. It’s very family friendly. I also genuinely love their prices because for some of their pieces you get value for your money. They have several well lit changing rooms that are usually fixed with a number of mirrors to offer a variety of angles. I have to admit there are many times I’ve met people in the streets wearing the exact same outfit that I am but I had to brush it off with the excuse great minds in fashion think alike. So that’s one risk of shopping here. They also sell shoes of different types and several accessories. Ranging from earrings , neckpieces to sunglasses. They also have a variety of home fixtures in a specific station though they are usually limited. The staff are so friendly and helpful all the time. I have never had a negative interaction in all my visits .
