Thika Town has in recent years become one of the most popular party towns in Kenya. Due to its proximity to Nairobi, and easy access through the Thika Superhighway, partying here is convenient. To capture this lucrative market a few really good clubs have come up within the town. So, to make your life easier I have created a “Top Clubs in Thika” list, which I’ll be updating annually.
1. The Garage Bar & Grill – Thika
The Garage Bar & Grill is arguably the most popular, and my favourite club in Thika. From its unique interior design, amazing music and beautiful ladies, there is nothing more you can ask for in a club. The food here is also incredible and affordable, and you can never go wrong with a meal from their menu. This is why it has topped my “Top Clubs in Thika” list.
2. Skatters Lounge
If you love food, drink, dancing and watching sports then Skatters Lounge has got you covered. Located on Mama Ngina Street, Thika you are bound to have fun here. The club often hosts popular DJs, such as Dj Kalonje. So make sure you pop in here on your next trip to Thika.
3. VSPOT Nightlife
Located along Kenyatta Highway, VSPOT Nightlife is popular every day of the weekend from Fridays to Sundays. This is due to its Dj lineup which never disappoints. On Sundays, the club is popular among Reggae fans due to its Reggae night. Its drinks are decently priced and you are bound to have fun when you party here on the weekend. This is why it’s on my “Top Clubs in Thika” list.
4. Nightfall Park
If you want to have a guaranteed fun night, then Nightfall Park is your safest bet. This club has consistently been among the most popular clubs in Thika for years, hence making it into my “Top Clubs in Thika” list. The venue has ample parking and the service here is quick and impeccable. The place is always full on the weekend so make sure you check it out.
5. Club Porkies UPH
If you love the latest music and want to party on a weekday then you need to check out Club Porkies UPH. Its Amapiano night on Wednesday is really good, but if you want to enjoy your music with a crowd then try it out on Thursdays to Saturdays. The crowd here is relatively young which is another positive.
6. Sip It Lounge
If you love partying with a young crowd and listening to the most popular music, then the DJs at Sip It Lounge are bound to make you happy. The club is always full on weekends and the ladies come dressed to impress. Try out the Amapiano Sunday the next time you are in Thika Town.
